This beautiful Greek
Orthodox Cathedral is one of the only art deco inspired cathedrals in
the world. Built in the Miami "Roads" section in 1948, its
vibrant stained glass windows and magnificent crystal chandeliers make
it an inspiring place to visit and worship. The Royal Poinciana tree
featured in the foreground of this screen is a West Indian transplant,
and is famous for its showy display of red and orange blossoms every
spring and summer.
