This Venetian palace was
built on Biscayne Bay in 1913 by the American Industrialist James
Deering. He selected the location after searching for the most perfect
climate and location in America. The palazzo is now a fine arts
museum. It has hosted the Queen of England, Pope
John Paul ll, and
three American Presidents. This screen restores the stone barge and
tea
house to their 1913 splendor.
